Eurostar Amsterdam to London - Check in at Dutch stations

The direct Eurostar from Amsterdam to London that very probably will start to operate at the end of 2017 will have check in with passport check at the Dutch departure stations, Amsterdam Centraal, Schiphol and Roterdam Centraal and the check will not be, as was mentioned earlier, at Brussels Zuid. That means travelers can stay on board of the Eurostar and do not have to get off at Brussels Zuid for the extensive passport and luggage check. It will drop the travel duration a lot, probably by 20 minutes.

Only passengers for the Eurostar to London have to go through the checks; for passenger Dutch departure stations to Belgian arrival station nothing changes: you can just hop on an off the train without any check.
