Take it packed
Within Spain you can take your bike on all trains if you pack it in a cover or bag with maximum dimensions of 120x40x90 centimeters (front and rear wheel removed). The bike can then be taken free of charge as luggage. On Spanish night trains there is a restriction of two packed bicycles per private compartment.
Take it unpacked
Unpacked, bicycles can be transported up to Barcelona at most; see the Barcelona tab for the timetable. In addition, you can take your bike unpacked and rideable within Spain on regional train connections: MD (Media Distancia trains), for example Cerbère – Barcelona, Barcelona – Zaragoza – Madrid, Madrid – Jaén, Jaén – Cádiz, Madrid – Huelva, Seville – Málaga, Irún – Madrid.
