Places such as Cologne, Düsseldorf, Münster, Osnabrück, Bremen, Hamburg or Aachen are perfect for a day trip from The Netherlands. Many people therefore forget the fantastic Christmas markets in France and Belgium.

Northern France is closer than many people think and thus also a fantastic destination for a day trip.
The Christmas market in Paris is reached very quickly with the Thalys and is super easy to combine with a visit to Disneyland. If you have a little more time, Disneyland is the perfect place to feel the magic of Christmas.
