Day 1: London or Paris

At London Victoria Station you´ll board the Belmond British Pullman. At 10.45 am the train leaves for Folkestone. On board brunch is served with a glass of Bellini, while the Kentish landscape glides by. After arriving in Folkestone, board the Shuttle train through the Eurotunnel under the English Channel to Calais where the blue and gold of the legendary Venice Simplon-Oriënt-Express welcomes you.

You´ll be escorted to your compartment where you can settle down in peace and prepare for dinner, one of the highlights of this trip. The train stops in Paris at 9.20 p.m. to welcome new guests on board. Then the train leaves Paris, after which the second session of dinner will be served. Overnight stay on board.

Day 2: Venice

You´ll wake up in the middle of the Swiss Alps. After the continental breakfast, which is served in your compartment, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery gliding by your window. As you cross the Italian border, you can enjoy lunch in one of the restaurant cars.

Enjoy the beautiful view of the Italian Dolomites. In the afternoon afternoon tea will be served in your compartment. Around 6 pm the train enters Santa Lucia station in Venice.

Accommodation in Venice for the next two nights isn´t included, but can be booked at the HappyRail. You can choose from many hotels.

Day 3: Venice

Enjoy Venice on your own. This car-free city is actually one big open-air museum. The Piazza San Marco with the Basilica and the Doge's Palace. The famous Rialto Bridge. The glass-blowing island of Murano. Each district has its own charm, you can easily get lost. It´s also nice to explore the city from the boat. This can be done by romantic gondola, or a private cab, or by vaporetto, similar to our bus but on the water.

Day 4: Venice

In the morning, board the Orient Express at Santa Lucia Station in the heart of Venice. You'll enjoy lunch in one of the three dining cars while admiring the Italian landscape outside. Later in the afternoon you´ll have an afternoon tea in your compartment. In the evening, an exclusive four-course dinner is served in the dining car. Overnight stay in the train.

Day 5: London

Breakfast takes place in your compartment. Around 7:30am the Orient Express arrives in Paris, where passengers who have booked up to here disembark. You´ll travel from Paris with the Orient Express to Calais on the French coast and have brunch on board. From Calais there´s a transfer by Shuttle train through the Channel Tunnel to Folkestone on the English coast. The journey continues with the British Pullman and by 5.45 pm you´ll reach Victoria Station in London, the end of this unforgettable journey.
