Day 1 Leon - Cistierna
Between 15:00 and 16:00 you're expected to be at the FEVE station in León to give or your luggage, With a comfortable coach you'll be taken to the San Feliz station where El Expreso de la Robla is waiting for you. On the train you get to meet the crew and fellow travelers and settle into your compartment. By train to Matallana where you'll board the comfortable coach to travel on to the cave of Valporquero, known for impressive stalagmites, stalactites and huge underground chambers. The coach will take you back to the train, with which you'll continue to Cistierna to visit the railroad museum. Dinner and overnight stay at Cistierna.

Day 2 Cistierna - Espinosa de los Monteros

While enjoying your first breakfast on board of the train, you travel to Guardo in the Palencia region. By coach you'll travel to the Roman villa of La Olmeda, known for its beautiful mosaics and the towns of Carrion de los Condes and Fromista for lunch. After visiting the temple of San Martin and Castilla Canal, travel by train to Sotoscueva and visit Espinosa de los Monteros, a beautiful village in the Burgos region of Las Merindades. Dinner and overnight in Espinosa de los Monteros.

Day 3 Espinosa de los Monteros - Bilbao

During breakfast, enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Mena Valley on your way to Bilbao. Enjoy the city and the Guggenheim museum where around 14:00 the journey with the La Robla ends at the La Concordia station in Bilbao.
