The corona crisis has a major impact on all of us. Many restrictions have been put in place, borders have been closed and train services are being suspended. At the moment, travelling (by train) within Europe is discouraged. It is important that we all look after each other and stay healthy.

There are many questions regarding already booked journeys. Please find the conditions below:

Single tickets
For bookings of individual tickets, the change and cancellation conditions of the operators (such as DB, ÖBB, SNCF, RENFE and so on) apply. At the moment most operators offer the possibility to cancel trips until the end of April 2020 without costs. The processing fee of a cancellation is 10% of the ticket price. Instead of a refund, we can also offer you a ‘ticket credit’ which can be used for a new trip at another time. In this case, there would be no processing fee of 10%.

International motorail services ÖBB and the domestic motorail service Feldkirch - Villach ÖBB until 26.06.2020
Until 26.06.2020 the following services will not be running:
Düsseldorf – Innsbrück
Hamburg Altona – Vienna
Vienna - Livorno
Feldkirch - Villach (train does run, yet no vehicle transport)
All journeys have automatically been cancelled.

Domestic motorail service ÖBB and the international motorail service ÖBB (from 27.06.2020)
The usual conditions apply:

Cancellation fee NightJet Komfort tickets:
- Up to 22 days before departure €27.
- From 21 days before departure not possible anymore.

Cancellation fee Sparschiene tickets:
- non refundable, 100% costs

Until 14.06.2020 all night trains and motorail services will not be running:
Tickets for journeys after 14.06.2020 are not on sale yet.
