Every year millions of people make a city trip to Prague. And that's not without reason. Prague has nicknames such as the City of One Hundred Towers and the Golden City (in the early days, Prague was the seat for goldmakers). The city has come back to life after the fall of communism. The city is buzzing and that´s contagious.
Prague has a beautiful city center with many cozy squares, narrow streets and historic buildings. Over the river Vltava that flows through the city, a number of beautiful bridges have been built. On the banks of the Vltava is the Prague Castle, the largest castle complex in the world. Prague is really completely away from it all. The Czech capital is easily accessible by train and therefore an ideal destination for a city trip by train.
