Finland has an excellent rail network: travel for example with the comfortable night trains from the big cities in the south to the far north, from Helsinki to Kolari or Tempere to Rovaniemi, or with the daily day train from Helsinki to St. Petersburg. It´s also possible to travel via Stockholm and then by night ferry to Helsinki: a special journey in itself.
