8/25/2019

Orient Express

You may know this train from the book or the movie 'the Orient Express', but did you know that you can take a ride on this train yourself? Via Vienna, Budapest and Bucharest you can travel from Paris to Istanbul in style. For six days you can enjoy the view that slides along your window while you enjoy a four-course dinner in your beautifully decorated, luxurious, old-fashioned coupé. In recent years, no less than three super-deluxe private coupes have been added to this train: all with private bathroom.

Maharajas Express

If you think of India, you may think of big crowds and perhaps chaos. On board the Maharajas Express you do not have to worry about crowds or chaos at all.

During this trip you can get off at the Taj Mahal, Jaipur and Varanasi. The train makes different routes every time it drives.

On board this train you will be treated in a royal way and the best Indian meals will be served. Truly a beauty of an eight-day train journey.

The Rocky Mountaineer

Sit back and relax while enjoying the most beautiful train journey through Canada. With the gigantic panoramic windows that reach to the roof, you do not have to worry about missing something from the view.

You pass the most beautiful wonders of nature, including intense blue lakes, deep ravines and higher mountains than you can imagine.

Al Andalus

For six days you can enjoy the view between Seville and Madrid from your old-fashioned coupe.

At night you stay in on the wonderfully soft beds and during the day you travel on the perfect sofa to enjoy the view. The bar, the lounge and the restaurant were built in 1929 and have now been restored so that even pure luxury can be enjoyed today.

Seven Stars

On the Japanese island of Kyushu you can enjoy the Seven Stars. This train is also called the cruise ship on wheels. The train stops at the most beautiful spots on the island so that you can do some excursions. Then you just step on the same train again!

The train has room for just 30 passengers, so that everyone can enjoy the luxurious lounge, the atmospheric restaurant and all other wonderful facilities.

Do you want to explore Kyushu, but are you on a budget? Luckily, you can also explore the island by normal train with the Kyushu Rail Pass.
