Day 1

Travel by Eurostar from London St Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord. Transfer by Metro to Gare de Lyon and continue by direct TGV to Barcelona. Overnight stay near the station, for example at Hotel Abba Sants or similar.

Day 2

Travel by high-speed AVE across the Iberian Peninsula to Andalusia. Arrive in Córdoba in the early afternoon. Stay for two nights in a characterful hotel in the old town, for example Hotel Maimonides or Los Patios.

Day 3

Free day in Córdoba. Be sure to visit the Mezquita, once a mosque during the Moorish period and later converted into a cathedral after the Reconquista.

Day 4

Travel by train to Seville. Stay for three nights in a three-star hotel near Seville's historic centre, for example Hotel Petit Palace Santa Ana.

Days 5–6

Stay in Seville. Discover the city on foot or, highly recommended, by bike. There is plenty to explore, including the cathedral, the Royal Alcázar, Plaza de España and the Setas de Sevilla.

Day 7

Travel by train to Granada. Stay at, for example, Hotel Inglaterra*** in the old town.

Day 8

Stay in Granada. The must-see here is the magnificent Alhambra. Make sure you book your tickets well in advance.

Day 9

Return to Barcelona by AVE in the afternoon. Overnight stay near the station.

Day 10

Depart in the morning by high-speed TGV to Paris. Transfer by Metro to Gare du Nord and continue by Eurostar to London St Pancras.
