Frankfurt is a modern and vibrant city. The lively character of the city is contagious. A city trip to Frankfurt by train feels close by, but yet feels like a whole different world. Ever since the Romans arrived there, Frankfurt has been an important trading center.

n addition to a modern and impressive business center, Frankfurt has a large historic center where trade used to take place. Besides the highest skyscrapers in Germany there are also good museums. On the southern banks of the river Main, which crosses the city, there are six top museums next to each other.

Sightseeing - City trip Frankfurt

Sankt Bartholomew

Referred to as the Cathedral, although it was never a bishop's seat. However, between 1356 and 1792 German kings and emperors were elected and - from 1562 - crowned here. The church has a beautiful treasury and some impressive works of art.

Goethe Museum and Goethe House

The house where Goethe spent his young years has remained as much as possible in its original state.

Money Museum

In the financial center of Germany, a museum about money is not to be missed. It´s an interactive museum where the visitor is challenged to play a banker himself.

Main Tower

Frankfurt has many skyscrapers. One of them is the Main Tower. This 200 meter high tower can be climbed. From the top you are rewarded with a beautiful view over the city.
