Day 1: Jasper - Kamloops

In the morning you board the Rocky Mountaineer in the charming mountain town of Jasper. During your journey, the train will take you past impressive Canadian Rockies to Kamloops in the heart of British Columbia Interior. As you head southwest you are surrounded by the fantastic landscapes of the Continental Divide, the rivers in the valleys and the Monashee and Cariboo mountains glide by.

Today's highlights include Mount Robson, the highest point in the Canadian Rockies at 3,954 meters, the Pyramid Falls and the climb over Yellowhead Pass. You´ll arrive at the beginning of the evening in Kamloops. Here you´ll spend the night in a comfortable hotel.

Day 2: Kamloops - Vancouver

You continue the journey early in the morning further west. During the train journey you´ll experience the drastic changes in the landscape. From the desert-like environment of the interior of British Columbia, the large rocks of the "Coast and Cascade" mountains, to the green fields of the Fraser River valley.

Today's highlights are the rivers of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep cliffs along the Thompson River. The journey ends in the early evening at the train station of bustling Vancouver.
