Train reservations are required for:

• Most high-speed trains (Thalys, Eurostar, TGV etc.) 
• Most international trains 
• Most Intercity trains (for example in France, Spain, Italy)
• All night trains

Please note that: 

• Reservation fees are not included in your pass
• At HappyRail it is possible to book unlimited train reservations for almost all trains in Europe 
• You can only make reservations if the Eurail pass is purchased through HappyRail
• Reservations can also be made at the ticket office at any station in Europe*

*Some trains have limited seats available for passholders. In the summer high speeds trains like the Thalys, Eurostar and the TGV are sold out quickly often.
