Dogs are taken as long they are on a leash and wear a muzzle. Dogs carried in a bench or bag travel for free, large dogs pay a half the fare of an adult.


No luggage limit on board of InterCityLyn-trains. Small luggage can be stowed in the overhead luggage racks or under your seat, for larger cases there are luggage racks in the compartments and near the outside doors. 


Ticket inspections are made before entering the platforms on the main stations. In some stations ticket inspections are made on board of the train.

International discount cards give a discount on international ticketed fares for InterCity Denmark-services.

Interrail / Eurail 

Interrail and Eurail are accepted on all InterCityLyn-services. Reservation is necessary on most routes. The costs are +/- € 4,- per person.

From Malmö to Copenhagen are trains in service every half hour throughout the day. From Hamburg in Germany there are 8 direct trains. From Oslo in Norway are 2 trains a day where you have to change trains (1 time) in Goteborg to Copenhagen. From Goteborg to Copenhagen are trains in service every hour throughout the day.
